The difference between paperback, hard cover and mass market paperback editions of a book
We all see different versions of books available for purchase such as Paperback, Mass Market Paperback and Hardcover editions.
The difference between them is explained below.
The difference between the “Mass Market Paperback”and “Paperback” editions of “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki is seen in the above picture with respect to book size.
The Mass Market Paperback is slightly smaller than the paperback edition. Hence it has slightly more number of pages. also the quality of the pages in Paperback edition is slightly better than the Mass Market Paperback version. There is no difference between them in terms of content.
Hardcover versions have a hard binding around the book and the paper quality is slightly better than the Paperback or the MMP versions.
If you’re buying a book for a collection I would recommend that you buy the hardcover or paperback edition. If you just want it for a quick read then Mass Market Paperback is better since it is slightly cheaper.
In general, the price of Hardcover is the maximum, followed by paperback. Mass Market Paperback versions are the cheapest of all.
